Chuseok Celebration

KAM Center Korean Culture Night

Chuseok 추석 is a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea, sometimes referred to as Korean Thanksgiving. Families gather together to pay respects to their ancestors and celebrate nature's bounty through sharing their abundance with family and friends.

We'll have Korean food including japchae, bulgogi, mandu, kimchi and banchan (delicious side dishes).

Also, we'll learn how to make one of the major foods prepared and eaten during the Chuseok holiday, songpyeon (송편), a crescent-shaped rice cake.

Afterwards, we'll watch a Korean movie appropriate for all ages.

All adoptees, their families, children & significant others are welcome! Space is typically limited to 40 people, so please make sure you RSVP to this event ASAP as space will fill up quickly.

We hope to see you at this exciting event KAM Center Cultural Nights to celebrate Chuseok.
